Bio
Mike Dilbeck is a professional speaker, video/film producer and creator of inspiring educational products to empower human beings to live extraordinary and powerful lives. He is well-known and respected in the fields in which he plays and is known to make a huge difference in the world.
Mike founded BECK & CO. in 1990 and serves as its President and Principal Producer. After serving for two years as Assistant Executive Director for Sigma Nu International Fraternity and producing over 20 video programs and two international conventions for the fraternity, Mike established quite a reputation for creating and producing effective and powerful video presentations and special events. After handling several calls from Executive Directors from other organizations, Mike realized there was a market needing his skills and expertise. BECK & CO. was founded to provide high-end video/film and special event production services for its clients. He has currently produced over 50 educational and promotional programs for BECK & CO. clients and won several awards (noted below).
In 1998, Mike expanded his expertise and entered the world of non-profit fundraising where he was instrumental in raising millions of dollars for people living with HIV/AIDS. He has served as the Director of the inaugural Texas AIDS Ride, Director of Special Events for the AIDS Foundation of Chicago, and Program Director for the first three years of the National AIDS Marathon Training Program in Chicago.
Mike continues to combine his skills, talents and expertise to provide valuable video, film and special event production services to his clients. Simply said, there is no one more qualified, skilled and knowledgeable about producing powerful and effective video presentations and special events. Mike understands the unique nature of his clients and caters his services and talents to meet the diverse needs of each client.
In July of 2007, Mike set out to produce an anti-hazing video for the fraternity/sorority community. This project took on a life of its own and grew into the RESPONSE ABILITY project including a DVD package, published book and speaking engagements. Mike now devotes most of his time to this project.
Some of this time is spent traveling the country as a professional speaker on bystander behavior at colleges & universities, as well as other groups associated with higher education.
